I found it too rough and hot for a betta. I had to sand down a lot of the rough edges. I thought since Betta was in the title that would be good. But that's not the case. It's probably great for other fish, I didn't find it suitable for bettas. If a product has Betta in its name, I probably don't need to sand it down or worry about sharp edges. There are smoother ceramic style logs on the market that would be better.
