This bag is very nice for the price. It does smell very strongly of mold. After airing it out in the sun, rubbing it down inside and out with rubbing alcohol I finally sprayed the inside lining of every pocket down with lysol, popped in into a garment bag for washing delicates and ran in through a cycle in a hot clothes dryer with clean towels I keep for rags to keep it from getting too beat up. It's airing out again. I would not have purchased if I had known about the smell as I am allergic to mold, but I'm willing to potentially over distress the leather because it was so inexpensive. The zippers are nice and smooth, but I cannot over state the mold smell. It reeks of health risks.Update- I still am working on the smell. I pulled the lining out- saturated it with a high alcohol content spray. I used baseball glove conditioner on the leather and left it in the hot sun all day- rotating is several times. The smell is mostly gone and the bag looks as good as new. If you also have a musty smelly bag, it may be worth your time to work with it. I was willing to ruin it because of the low price. It still looks great. I’m going to try lavender and Silicea pouches next along with a another day outside in the hot sun.
