I used them to isolate a large Fluval FX6 aquarium filter from the cabinet bottom. The tiny rubber pads that came with the filter weren't enough to prevent the filter from causing low frequency vibrations, resulting in the whole body emitting a very annoying hum. The filter itself is very quiet, but sitting in a hollow case made it possible to create conditions. Neither the filter nor the hoses touch the walls of the cabinet, so I knew the filter legs (3) were the only point of contact. As soon as I put them under my feet, the vibration stopped and the living room stopped buzzing! Worked like a charm and at less than $8 a very cheap solution!
