If you are looking for a remote switch that will operate for a long distance then this is a good choice.HOWEVER: The load you are controlling must be in view of the switch to know if you have just turned it on or off. They are one tap on, one tap off. If you can’t see the load you will not know if you turned it on or off. That means you can’t use them for a means of turning all lights on or off at a building entrance unless the switch is within sight of the load being switched. They are not designed to mount easily over any existing US switch box opening. The stick on mounting onto an existing one gang switch plate looks like something from outer space. You must first mount a two gang blank plate over the existing one gang box opening putting two screws directly into the wall then screw the back plate of the remote switch to the plate to obtain a solid and dependable mount. I will post a photo of a switch mounted on a two gang blank plate over a one gang switch box opening. The operation distance is impressive however. I have accidentally operated one of my receivers already mounted and paired from an extra switch I had lying on my work bench a quarter mile away through three houses in between the switch and the receiver. They have no problem at all within a 150x200 foot building even through several walls.Although they do not recommend operation of multiple receivers from one switch they pair with some working out and then work fine under most normal circumstances. Where a problem can happen is when the receivers are far apart and if you tap the switch in rapid repetition one or more of the receivers may lag behind and get out of sequence as far as their on or off state. Then you have a situation of some will turn on and some will turn off on the same tap of the switch. It does not happen often and can be corrected fairly easily. Most receivers are shipped to reset to off in case of a power failure. Make sure to disconnect all power to all receivers affected at the same time then restore all power back all at the same time before operating any remote switch. Now when you tap the remote switch they all should turn on at the same time.I do not recommend using these switches in conjunction with a traditional wall switch. Go the extra mile and put a remote switch paired to the same receiver for replacement of any old traditional switch to make a load controlled from two or more locations. ALWAYS PAIR ANY ADDITIONAL REMOTE SWITCHES TO CONTROL A PARTICULAR RECEIVER OR GROUP OF RECEIVERS FROM ANOTHER ALREADY PAIRED SWITH FOR THAT RECEIVER OR GROUP. Do not try to pair additional switches directly to the receiver. PAIR THE FIRST SWITCH TO A RECEIVER THEN PAIR ANY ADDITIONAL SWITCHES FOR THAT RECEIVER FROM THAT ALREADY PAIRED SWITCH.I hope this will answer some questions I could not get resolved until I bought the switches and experimented on my own. Also note that I found pairing to be compatible between Wdscam and GBGS brands but not confident that these will pair correctly with Hendun brand which also have different color coding on the receivers hook up wires.
