Review on LeeKooLuu Q03: Portable High-speed USB-C & USB 3.0 DVD External Drive for Laptops - Windows/Mac OSX/Linux Compatible by Dean Love

The quality is great and the price is great!

My first CD recorder cost $9600. Yes, $9600! Blank CDRs cost $40 each, and recording software was unstable at the time. Then I burned a lot of "stalls". God, how times have changed. This recorder records all CD formats known to me. Then add a DVD burner and that makes $23.99 an AMAZING silly deal! I haven't checked if they make a BluRay burner. The recorder feels solid and is very well made. It looks like my more expensive Samsung portable recorder. It includes a USB power cable in case you have a computer that cannot handle the 5V required by the recorder. All my computers (Macintosh) don't need a power cord. I think most laptops do that too. Love the fact that they come with a USB3/USBC combo cable. This option is important because I have too many computers with too many different ports. Now I'm well secured. Some people will say that nobody uses CDs anymore. I work in the music and video industry and have yet to create CDs for clients. But we are not here to discuss it! :-) I've used Toast Titanium and Waveburner to burn data and audio discs. Both applications recognized the recording device without any problems and all my test recordings worked perfectly. Love the idea that it's USB3, which probably means I'll never see the occasional "cache" crash again! Of course, spaces are now 20 cents, so who cares! In addition, LeeKooLuu offers unexpected free bonus items. I won't tell you what, but I'll tell you these aren't crappy useless things to throw away. If you need a portable CD/DVD burner, buy one and be happy!
