They clean sanding belts really fast. Sanding resinous wood (pine, spruce) loads the belt relatively quickly; They burn wood instead of chopping it. This will remove all traces of dirt and the belt will work like new again. Most belts are still good; They're just laden with sticky sawdust. This removes it within seconds. I have cleaned some old belts and can't believe how well they are working again. This will save me quite a bit of money! I wish I had bought it years ago.
