Making a blanket with a monkey is very easy!
I am 34 weeks pregnant and knitted a monkey blanket in two days. It's very simple, the only difficulty I have are eyes, mouth and nose. I'd like to bring some kind of fleece to make sewing a lot easier, but you can do without it. I think many of these blankets will love them! They take less time than a real blanket and make a great gift!
