Review on Bar Mitts Handlebar Shifters Externally by Dino Wilson

This is a great addition to my winter commute. I have a daily 30-60 minute ride in varying weather conditions. Winter temperatures can range from the high 20s (F) to the low/mid 40s (F). I used to rely on a pair of cheap acrylic lined gloves under a heavier snow glove in temperatures of 20-30 degrees. With this attitude I had to give up good manual dexterity. With this product I can survive an hour ride with only one inner glove. For long trips in the 20's I definitely need heavier gloves. However, this product is great for my needs. During heavy downpours, water pooled under my forearms just above my wrists, where water drains from the jacket but doesn't go any further. My hands stay dry and comfortable even in these conditions. In windy weather, I notice a nudge from cross winds. I ride with full baskets so I'm used to it. After weighing the pros and cons, I'm happy with these gloves. 9 out of 10
