Our family lived in an RV for 2 years and was constantly on the move. We just used cheap non-adjustable standard controls. We always had weak water pressure that leaked. We assumed that this was a necessary effect when using a pressure regulator in a motor home. Sometimes upgrading our unit's basement water filter has reduced the pressure even further. Combined with the filter in our unit's refrigerator, trying to fill my coffee pot each morning became a time-wasting nightmare. The toilet seal on our camper has dried out due to lack of water. I was so frustrated and fed up that I decided to look around for a psi meter and search for adjustable regulators. Valterra has the best ratings. I'm so glad I spent the extra money on the Valterra brand. I hooked it up as directed and within minutes I had water pressure I haven't had in years living in the house. I can't believe I've had a water drop for two years because of a cheap regulator. I would happily purchase this item yearly to have the wonderful water flow I now have with this regulator only on factory settings. I have a feeling the water is spoiled. This is too good to be true. If you're not happy with the water pressure, invest in a good regulator.
