Ender 3 V2 owners ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️

Ender 3 V2 owners WARNING ⚠️ If you want to install this on your computer I strongly recommend you to be an advanced user. In stock firmware the number of steps only increases to 186. This is a gear ratio of 3 to 1 and requires at least 415 steps (I have 450). I flashed a custom TH3D firmware instead of using gcode to solve this problem. It still doesn't squirt properly. To be fair, I've had a lot of bad luck with 3D printers over the years. For example, I bought a Micro Swiss all metal hot end for this machine and it didn't fit the V2. It ran like clockwork right away, but after about 2000 hours of printing, the extruder started to fail. I'm not impressed with this Bond Tech clone and this is my second fake Chinese part. For my part, I don't buy anything that isn't an OEM part. Of course I enjoy playing around with 3D printers but it gets too boring and I get frustrated. My printer has been down for over a week now and I've spent over 15 hours trying to get it working. I work full time, I'm married and I can't neglect my wife for all the personal time I have (no matter how little she is). I think I will reinstall the original extruder and maybe order another replacement from BRAND NAME in the near future. I hope you have good luck with it when you get it. Not me. Additional note: I recommend TH3D's custom Marlin firmware for V2 (oddly it was free).
