Exactly one year after installation, it started working out of the blue. Three beeps and a voice message for fire and evacuation. I had to turn it off. All in all, it's not the best recipe for a comfortable day with all that running around and climbing chairs at 4:00 am. Production date is February 2019. Before I bought an alarm clock, I studied it. There were many reports of false activations with the first hardware release. The company promised that the issue was fixed in this updated version. These 10 year old battery alarms still need to be perfected.
