I think it's my fault for expecting top quality for what I paid. I use them and their caps (which were fine) to make shelf supports. I don't care about the gray color - they were dyed anyway. A couple of issues - because they're thinner than the ones you buy in big stores (for a lot of money), when you put a hose through them, the threads stick out at the back. In my application they hit the wall so I have to drill a 3/4 foot diameter hole in the wall to exit the threads or sand down the protruding threads with my grinder. The other issue is that it's at least 50% warped so it doesn't sit squarely against the wall and line up with the wall next to it. I think I need to attach one side and then the spacer the other. I have no overtime planned. Would I buy them again - no! The extra work isn't worth the savings. I didn't have time to return them, so I'll just have to take care of them. Next time I'll take a look when they're there. my fault
