I'll admit that I'm often a sucker for beauty 'toys', especially pretty ones. And that's what these look like. They are beautiful and they even have glitter inside! They remind me of delicate and exquisitely sparkly snow globes. So while I am very pleased with the aesthetic look of these beauty tools, it must be remembered that they are, indeed, tools. That is to say, they DO something, and they really DO work!I immediately put mine in the freezer, only realizing hours later that the description and directions say they can be kept in the *refrigerator*. Uh-oh! Thankfully, these globes are filled with an anti-freeze liquid, so it is safe to keep them in the freezer without having to worry they'll break. I like to use them while I'm waiting for my coffee in the mornings. They feel so good! They stimulate circulation and collagen production and encourage lymphatic drainage. They also help close and minimize pores, reduce oil production and wrinkles, and they smooth and refresh the undereye area while decreasing puffiness. They are such simple tools, but they do a lot of good stuff, and they do it safely, cleanly, and refreshingly. And all this for around $25? Yes, please!Incidentally, these globes are great to have on hand when nursing a hangover or suffering with a migraine, too. They really ease the pain of a headache, especially when used on the eyes or temples. I love the pretty blue color and the fact that they are protectively packaged in a nice box with foam molding and a magnetic closure, making them perfect for gift-giving, too.
