It makes a nice blanket for outdoor events like going to the beach or camping out, however the advertising seems to claim it works as a normal blanket as well. I disagree seeing as its not all that comfortable. Its not extremely uncomfortable or anything, but I have many more much softer blankets for use in my house.I think the optimal use for this would be situations in which you dont want to get your nice blankets dirty or stained.Still I think it makes a great item to have for around the pool, on the beach, picnics, camping etc.
