I have made a short video showing you how to set up and use the highlighter. It was a lot easier than I expected. It's as simple as: 1. Turn the side of the dial to the 3 o'clock position.2. Insert the needle with the hollow side flush with the hole on the gun (opposite side of the dial)3. Rotate the dial back to the 9 o'clock position.4. Insert the plastic pieces into the gun with the bottom of the "T" body and push them in until they can't move. 5. Attach a paper label to the needle or hold the paper label so that the hole aligns with where you want the notch/plastic part to be.6. Pierce the paper tag and clothing tag until it comes out a different size or where you want the back end of the beard (you can sometimes get it between layers if you want, but it's a little tricky). If there is no tag I try to match it with the sewn seam so the hole fits better.7. Pull the trigger and then draw the gun. The tag must be placed and ready.8. Sometimes when starting a new skein I have to pull the trigger twice to prime the gun, but I guess that's only if I don't pull the thread in the gun enough. I find it easier to write on the tag before I place it, so I don't write on the clothes. I bought this because I was tagging 300-500 pieces of clothing for a flea market. I've tried several methods to sell clothes in the past. I used stickers but they fall off. I've made boxes that each had items at a certain price ($1 in one box, $3 in another), but people don't want to dig through the boxes. I did this when I don't review anything and people ask for prices but some people are too shy to ask or don't want to take the time. Having prizes for every item this year has been amazing. I've had prices range from free to $20 for Lululemon outfits. It made a big difference. I made a cardboard sign that said "clothes are specified on tag" and on the back said "clothes cut in half" for a later day. I've had so many shoppers compliment my organization and say my flea market was their favorite. I look forward to using this gun for the semi-annual sale I am attending. I used to put security tags on clothing, which is a huge pain. I highly recommend this weapon. You can see from my photo I had some clothes on but actually it was only half of what I did! I still had children's, children's and men's things that are not in the photo. It worked like a champ for everything.
