The terrible battery life doesn't last me a short school day. Pros - the speed of work after removing mcafee antivirus and other unnecessary programs. I wish they would leave it alone and let you download what you want. He asked me to rate the touchscreen. Needs an update as it's not a touchscreen and I didn't want it. Thin and light, especially for a 15.6-incher. Almost smooth. User friendliness. I like the adapter that plugs in on the left depending on how my table and cord are set up. Cons - Coming from a MacBook Air so bear that in mind. The screen broke and a few days later I needed a computer for my final exam. It is in no way comparable to an apple. The fact that one review says it just makes me laugh. It's literally like comparing the new iPhone to a 1990 Nokia clamshell phone. Yes, the graphics are that bad. I originally bought a $300 HP base model from Walmart to quickly replace my Mac. My daughter persuaded me to give her this and buy me something better, so I bought this one. Aside from being faster than a $300 laptop (especially on initial setup), I really don't notice much of a difference. The screen on this shit is like a trackpad. You have to press hard to make a selection, and that's very inconvenient. It took me about 10 attempts to even select my country during setup. Cheap 300 hp there were better ones. I wouldn't pay $500 for something on such a low budget. I don't look at the keys much so I don't mind if the contrast is poor, but for the price they should at least have a backlit keyboard and a better display. There are almost no settings. I thought I could adjust the normal display settings but all I could change was the brightness. It was 100% open. This is probably why some people are complaining about the battery drain. I set it to 30% and it improved the look of the screen a bit. There's a contrast adjustment, but it's odd and very limited. What can you change, need to choose a color? Don't waste your money on it. I'll be back.
