Doesn't work: Tools and equipment

I connected it to a LiFePO4 13.6V 50Ah battery. When I turned it on (no load) it tripped the 50 amp switch on the BMS battery. Then I tried it with a car battery. When I turned it on it squeaked and smoke came out. This was with no load on the device (and yes, the polarity was correct!) Revain brought it back. Please note that the cables supplied may be rated for 30 amps but not the 80 amps that would be required to continuously draw 1000 watts from the device. The package contains 30A fuses.
