I bought it for travel, I take my family and dogs with me. I'm on an expedition so this bag may seem small but I was really surprised by the amount of luggage we were able to fit: 1 pack and play mattress, 1 pack and play mattress, 2 large suitcases, 1 carry-on trolley. , 2 duffel bags and some small items to fill in the gaps. It feels sturdy, the zips feel nice, for the price it's a great vessel that helps add storage quickly. To be honest I didn't even try the straps, I threaded three ratchet straps through D-hooks throughout the bag and one large strap front to back, it didn't budge even an inch. Overall a great bag for the price! Another point, I didn't get caught in the rain but if I do I plan to put a blanket in my bag on top of my luggage to avoid condensation.
