Frustrating 1080i to 720p conversion
I wanted to use this to convert 1080i video to 720p but found I could do it for two reasons didn't work. First, the 720p video had half as many video frames - 30 instead of 60 - so the smooth "video" motion was more like a "movie". I couldn't find a setting to change this behavior. Secondly, the quality of the conversion wasn't very good - the 720p output was noticeably smoother. I've used many different conversion boxes and I know it's not necessary, but with this unit it is. In the end it didn't meet my expectations and I sent it back. Thank you Revain for a painless process.
