Review on GM Genuine Parts 19300488 Crankshaft Balancer: Guaranteed Performance and Precision by Anthony Shepherd

I haven't installed the balancer yet and won't try until I've repaired the balancer nose. It has a very rough passage at the tip of the nose where it rubs against the gasket during installation. It's VERY sharp and I'm afraid it will cut or damage the seal. I plan to use a Scotch-Brite Roloc disc or something to smooth the drill bits before assembly. I hate oil leaks and this is easily their source.
