Review on Satechi USB C Extension Charging Inches by Cho Screeton
The USB-c spec label isn't worth the bother of saving $5.
USB-C cable specification deviation creeps in and causes problems. It's not just a data transfer issue, it's an inability to rely on how it performs with cables other than a connection (as opposed to plugging directly into a power source). It's better to just take the standard $9.99 flat band shorty and get an extra $5 for versatility.
