Review on ASUS ROG Strix X570-F Gaming Motherboard by Amrit Barla ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

I selected a motherboard for a processor (AMD Ryzen 7 3700X), it turned out that only this chipset fully opens all the possibilities of this processor, and since I always use only ASUS, the choice turned out to be not so big . Although now I think that I made a mistake, I had to take it on previous chipsets, flash the BIOS and not bathe, I still bought a PSI-E 3 video card (I didn’t see PSI-E 4), so there’s not much point in this chipset . As for the motherboard itself, with the exception of the minuses described above, everything else is in perfect order. A bunch of USB connectors, including those with output to the front panel of the case. I also want to include the fan as +, I thought it would be noisy, so I doubted for a long time whether to take this chipset or not. But the regular fan turned out to be very quiet, it does not stand out from the rest, and in the assembled case it (however, like everyone else) is not audible at all. But now you don’t need to worry about overheating of the chipset, in the old computer you even had to the fan on the chipset yourself, because. he was very hot, but here everything is decided in the best possible way. Another big plus, in fact, why I chose this particular model, here you don’t need to remove the motherboard to clean this fan and radiator, just remove the video card, because the decorative cover is unscrewed from the front side. In other models, to remove this cover, you need to remove the motherboard, and sooner or later this fan and radiator will need to be cleaned . By the way, I still put the vidyuhi in the upper slot, for this I had to saw off a small piece of the decorative casing of the vidyuhi fans, thereby opening up air access to the motherboard fan. A few more words about the sound, SupremeFX initially made quite a positive impression on me. I think for most it will be for the eyes, but if you like really high-quality sound, then most likely you will have to buy something, after a few weeks I could not stand it and took the ASUS Xonar STX II, only after that my ears were satisfied)

Pros
  • ASUS
Cons
  • Very expensive. When installed in the upper slot of a video card (I think that any), the chipset cooling fan is completely closed. When you install a vidyuhi in the bottom slot, it completely covers the M2 SSD drive in the bottom slot and it cools worse, even though the motherboard fan blows on it. It is very difficult to remove the video card from the top slot. Not very clear BIOS. Very long loading of BIOS, if Windows itself (10ka) loads in 5-7 seconds, then BIOS loads for 20 seconds at least .
