Review on Exhaust fan Soler & Palau SILENT-100 CZ, gold 8 W by Adam Chyliski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Despite the fact that it is the most basic version and lacks both bells and whistles as well as design frills, it has a really chic appearance. When it is in action, it is really quiet; you can hear the rustling of the blades and the passage of the air, but there is hardly any noise coming from the engine at all. I've only ever installed it once, but the mounting holes for mounting it to the wall were obviously created according to the norm, so I mounted it on the holes from the ancient Polish "Dospel" — I sat down like a native. The construction is of very high quality, and the inside is completely watertight. It is true that the valve is a thin transparent film, similar to a diaphragm; nevertheless, it is entirely possible, should the need arise, to replace it with improvised materials. I cut it out and installed it, and I don't anticipate any issues with it in the future. Work - we'll see. So far I'm 100% satisfied.

Pros
  • This fan is quite low-key in terms of noise. The material has a high-quality finish, does not smell of anything unfamiliar, is evenly distributed and glossy, and the castings are of great standard.
Cons
  • Similar to a diaphragm, the valve does not instill much confidence in its dependability.
