Review on BOSCH PA1202 Woodrazor Tungsten Carbide Planer Blades - A Pair of High-Performance Woodworking Tools by Joe Griffin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Woodrazor blades are easy to use.

We restored and lived in a traditional Seattle craft bungalow and had the hard work of planing badly weathered 105 year old rocker panels that were flush with the sheathing in preparation for gluing and screwing in new cedar. a sill bar on each of the original double windows. We managed to use up the OEM Woodrazor blades that have been in the plane since it came from the factory and we managed to scrape some metal here and there. The original blades looked pretty rough, but still cut remarkably well. I figured that anything that looked bad after our work should be replaced even if they can still cut, just as a general principle. It took almost no time to remove and install the new edged blades and they came back working like new with no adjustment. I don't know how changing planer knives could be easier.
