Review on Lisle 27530 T 70 Torx Bit by Dave Phobia

Unfortunately this is rubbish. Bought to loosen the drain plug on a Subaru transmission. It's not something I need to do often, if at all, so I don't need a top-of-the-line product. Fit and finish was good, no complaints. The problem arose when the 1/2 inch section of the drive bushing was split in two. No I didn't have a cheater on an 18 inch breaker. Yes, I pulled this rod quite well, but there was no way I could make such a mistake with a regular pry bar. This was the first time it was used. At this point I had to go to the parts store and buy a new version of Gearwrench. A much nicer tool and yes it cost more but it didn't break on first use. I could get Lisle to replace it under her warranty but really why bother. Lisle makes some good and useful tools, but this is definitely not one of them.
