Read the instructions carefully!
This worked on an old model DIP switch and a newer (circa 2013) camera with a purple "learn" button (I programmed a button on the same remote and it worked!). It didn't work at first, but that was because I didn't read the instructions fully. When I went back and re-read them, I found that my model's master had to flip the DIP switches. Once I did that, it worked great. I'll buy a second one!
