I have previously bought another cast stone that uses a plastic insert to hold the contents. Believe it or not, our dog found this rock and chewed on the plastic insert. So when I was looking for a replacement, I found this product with a different design. I have to say I like that the compartment has a sturdy sliding lid. With this design, the content will definitely be safer. So far our dog has left this fake rock alone as it should!
