Pros: - Comes with power bank for quick charging - Doesn't seem to care about device orientation or placement. As long as it is in the center, it will charge quickly. A wide range of possible uses thanks to the removable additional panel. The status LEDs aren't too bright, so you can keep it on your bedside table. Complete silence. The coils don't squeak. Cons: The phone gets a little warm compared to the old mat. For Airpods Pro, the charger will also not turn off (green light on) after fully charged. So Profis never get cold, but I'm pretty sure they have charging circuitry built in, so they're probably fine. I have a habit of leaving them on my pillow for a few hours and then turning them over so the pad doesn't stay in place. This is not an issue with my phone, only with Airpods Pro. I also tested them with a friend's Galaxy Buds Plus and encountered the same issue. Partly I think it's because of the smaller surface area so heat doesn't dissipate and the fact that both only require about 3 watts, but the charger always tries to fast charge at 10 watts. I'm not sure why it doesn't turn off though. The Qi log should let you know when the headphones are fully charged and should turn off, like my phone does. Other: - I don't like shiny black parts. The metal edges of my phone's cameras have already scratched the surface.
