This item did not work for me. Installed for use with Dell U2410 monitors. Advanced troubleshooting with two Dell U2410 monitors has shown that using a cable results in the monitors not being able to power cycle successfully. The monitor could only be switched on again after disconnecting the DP cable and the power cable of the monitor. Using a different brand of DP cable didn't give the same results - the monitor's power button works fine. Only if the monitor never turns off will this cable work on the display so this cable is either not good or badly damaged. return requested.
