Review on Premium Splicing Length Marking Tape by Julio Solano

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Strong grip even in the garage at 120 degrees!

When small children are around I have used this tape for many things in my garage and shop and generally around the property for many years. I can confirm that this material is quite durable and if the surface is properly prepared (clean and completely grease free) it will hold up over time almost like paint but will come off if you have to [deliberately] remove it. It will leave a layer of sticky white glue but that is to be expected and will be removed with mineral spirits, alcohol, acetone, brake cleaner etc (whatever is safe on the surface being cleaned). Pre-cleaning the surface, if it's cold I recommend heating the entire surface AND the tape to 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit prior to application. The moderate temperature seems to really work the adhesive and makes the tape more flexible when going around corners or uneven/uneven/textured surfaces. Remove any air bubbles, keep it warm for a few minutes while you buff the surface, and the stuff stays there until you intentionally remove it, even during the long, hot Arizona summer. Highly recommended.

  • safety signs and signals
Cons
