Works exactly as it should.

This way I can add an emergency light to my car's rear window. I have a three terminal switchable 12 volt output. I routed this wire under the front seat, under the back seat cushion, and out to the back of my car. I turned on the alarm clock. Now all I have to do is flip the switch on the box and the light on the back comes on. I have also used this cable with my generator to extend the distance when using 12v accessories when camping. I'm glad I bought this.
