Review on ULBRE Soho USB 3.0 Switch Selector - 4 Ports USB Switcher Hub 💻 for Sharing 2 Computers, Mouse, Keyboard, Printer, and Scanner with One Button Km Switch Adapter by Mike Pettigrew

I bought this to switch keyboard and mouse between laptop and home desktop (both windows 10). My keyboard is a Logitech G810 with RGB and my mouse is a Logitech G502 (no RGB). I initially had problems when plugging it into the USB 3.0 ports on my desktop and laptop, along with an additional power adapter. It had trouble identifying the keyboard on my desktop when trying to swap it out, a 10 second delay plus an error when trying to identify the hub, which shouldn't be a problem at all if it's the right switch was. It turns out that USB 3.0 with dual power supply causes problems. It doesn't matter if I used an external power supply via the micro USB port or not. The solution was to plug a laptop or desktop computer into a USB 2.0 port and the switching issues were gone. I suspect there is a transition between each system due to power, data or whatever. Although it supports USB 3.0, that probably means it can handle ONE USB 3.0 source and the remaining port has to be USB 2.0. This may be an outlier or a quality control issue with this supplier, but hopefully this review helps someone.
