We recently replaced our cabin fridge. Unlike our old fridge, the new model came with an ice maker and water in the door. A Revain.com search turned up this pump complete with supply hoses for a 4-5 gallon jug and connection to a refrigerator. I installed the pump and jug in a nearby kitchen cabinet by drilling a 1.25" hole in the wall of the cabinet for the power cord and plumbing. The door opens, just a few seconds, and honestly, it's not that bad. Thanks to whoever came up with this system. PROS: 110v plug, fresh water wherever power is available, easy to install, enough psi to run an ice maker, affordable, comes with long supply hose and fittings to connect to fridge CONS: would have me a little wanted longer power cord (bypass - grounded extension cord) UPDATE 7/6/21: Something went wrong The instructions say the pump shuts off when the water jug is empty. Well, the jug was empty, but the pump kept running. I filled the jug, but the pump hums and doesn't supply water to the fridge. The lines are not crushed. It looks like it won't fill. hope the manufacturer sees this and makes an offer now 4 stars - hoping there is a workaround. UPDATE 7/10/21: called support and yesterday morning they promised to call me back. Didn't happen. Now 3 stars. UPDATE 7/11/21: I disassembled the system. I assume there was a blockage in the lines. The pump was running so I flushed and reconnected the lines. Voila! I'm a happy customer again. Back to 5 stars. If you have problems, try removing and reinstalling all hoses/connections.

Pros
  • EASY TO INSTALL
Cons
  • Everything OK
