AFTER 3 MONTHS NOT WORKING

I got this pump but after reading all the reviews I got a little scared. This pump is made of high quality materials and finishes. Works very quietly. Bought for an ice maker for the fridge. Of course once I had everything installed I turned it on to check for leaks and then the pump would not pump or turn on. Nothing has happened. lol. We recently replaced our cabin fridge. Unlike our old fridge, the new model came with an ice maker and water in the door. A Revain.com search turned up this pump complete with supply hoses for a 4-5 gallon jug and connection to a refrigerator. I installed the pump and jug in a nearby kitchen cabinet by drilling a 1.25" hole in the wall of the cabinet for the power cord and plumbing. 18 Months and Dead: Water Pumps, Parts & Accessories

I bought this to replace a 12 year old FlowJet 1000. If I didn't know better, it was a Flowjet. The threaded hole mounts are identical to the FlowJet. Just like the sanitary facilities. While the FJ was old, it seems to have more punch, less pulsation and a little quieter. I live alone. So I only use it for the water in my ice maker and the water in my fridge door.
