These screens are much better than traditional metal screens. I love that you can turn them over and wash the food out of the colander without touching it. The colors surrounding the strainer add color to the kitchen, and there is a "handle" to pull the strainer out of the drain. Having 4 colanders is a bit redundant, but I use 2. I put one in the sink to wash while the other is in the dishwasher. They cooperate well with MIBOW Silicone Dish Brush Dish Brush for Kitchen Cooking Pot Casserole Bowl/Fruit and Vegetable Wash Bathing and Face Cleansing Food Grade Silicone 2 Packs. I keep the other two under the kitchen sink for later use, but I think you could use the filters in either sink. I would recommend this filter.
