This one definitely has its uses. I live in Southwest Florida so the sun is pretty brutal here. I like that it doesn't cover the whole car and is quick and easy to apply. We also get a lot of rain during the rainy season, so if you have an old car with a crappy sunroof due to leaky windows, that's fine. This is much more convenient than throwing straps under the car and kneeling down to cover it. .I also like it when you're a bit out of sight. It's quite difficult for someone to look in your windows and check your doors when this coating is applied. My neighborhood is 50/50 good bad so I feel a little better at night knowing I've made it even more annoying for someone trying to mess with my stuff. Nobody really talks about the security aspect of this kind of thing. Mall parking at school works anywhere you feel you can pull on that extra layer.
