The microphone is terrible

I read all the reviews and expected that it will completely replace my internal car multimedia system in terms of calls and music. But I was very surprised when I tested the mic and it turned out to be as bad as can be imagined. I tested 3 options while calling other people: use the phone hands-free, use the car's built-in audio system, and use the device. The BK03 microphone is terrible, you can hardly hear me. I've tried using it with and without noise reduction. It sounds like I'm speaking out of a barrel, even though I placed the device right in front of me right next to the steering wheel and even turned off the engine. So I ended up just using the BK03 for music while still using my device to receive calls. Luckily, my phone seamlessly switches between the two (and both work over Bluetooth). But the whole setup is pretty weird now. Another disadvantage is the volume. Since that annoying beep sounds when the phone volume is not set to 100%, it becomes difficult to control the music volume. I literally have to keep the car volume at 1 in 30 to make it comfortable and I can't use my phone to turn it down a bit so I can use the car to control it while driving. Pros: - the device works - the music quality is good - the buttons are nice, well finished - it goes to sleep automatically when not in use, which I also like. Cons: - poor microphone - excessive annoying "beeping" when phone volume is not set to 100% Conclusion: as soon as I get a new car, I throw it away.
