I used some shrink tubing on the cables (interconnect, speaker and power cords). This is the first time I've tried gluing walls to speaker wire. I'm impressed with the strong bond this heat shrink tubing creates. I didn't want to use solder on the ultra-low ground Z connectors, so I made a crimp. With regular heat shrink tubing, every time I pull the connector out of the terminal, I see that the wire is pulled out and needs to be replaced. I finally settled on these shrink wall adhesives and the product worked exactly as I expected. No more mess. I only used 3/16" and 1/4" tubing. For my project they are long enough to be split into 3 parts. I didn't realize it until I did the first sentence. The heat shrink tubing is so strong that I could only use 1/3 of the tubing for each connection to get strength ie cut a tubing in 3 parts and use it on 3 connections. The after sale customer service is also super cool and very supportive.
