Screen dims when hot
I love this radio and use it every day at work. BUT for something that purports to be a military design I was quite surprised to notice that the LCD would fade if the radio was left in direct sunlight. This appears to be related to heat rather than direct UV exposure, whether the display is in direct sunlight or not.
