Really great little pure sine wave inverter. I use it almost every day in my garden in a homemade solar ammo generator (see attached picture). I bought it in April 2017 and it has been used quite a bit to power a small HDTV, speakers, coax amp etc. I have tested the "pure sine wave" with an oscilloscope and it appears on the frequency with some slight delays in the waveform signal. . Peak-to-peak was about 320V (ideally 340V). Not so hot what's up. It looked good from what I measured, but not as good as my Outback Power PSW 3500W Inverter, Go Power 1500W PSW Inverter, or Electricity. "Fan" test done. With modified sine wave inverters. The fan of my shop "moans" and sounds annoyed. I connected a 100W AC fan to this AIMS. It sounds good. DISKLIKES: 1) Installation? No screw eyelets or attachment method. I had to use velcro on my ammo can and attach this inverter to the side. It works, but it's not perfect. 2) Banana plugs for connecting DC power. Why not use regular screw eyelets like other products? I had to buy 90 degree banana forks to make this work. GENERAL: Works well but needs updating. A mounting solution is required and the banana plug inputs are just a silly idea. They will work, but they stick out too much and can break if you're not careful. UPDATE: March 18, 2018 - Still working great! Reliable small inverter. UPDATE: June 5th, 2018 - My ammo solar generator is still running 24/7. This is a 180W PSW inverter model with 12V banana inputs. Did some measurements. I'm going to order a 300w version to see if I can fit it in an ammo box. If not, no big deal. I load it in my truck.
