This is mine second d3000 camera. I love the camera but this is my second purchase in a year. I use the camera a lot, and the hinge on the door that contains the hard drive broke. Replacement cost 27.00. Then the camera started making noises when I went to take pictures and only worked occasionally. Much worse. So I ordered another D3000 because I had already bought extra lenses for this camera and they were expensive. It was my fault for not sending the warranty card when I bought the camera. He takes great photos which is a plus.
