Recycled paper towels are worse for you than regular paper towels

I've been buying this brand's towels and other products made from recycled paper towels for years, until I decided to investigate BPA and phthalates in recycled products. I originally bought these to avoid the dioxins in regular paper towels, but found that all of these types of paper products STILL contain dioxins. Then I found all the studies on BPA/phthalates/plastics found in HIGH levels in recycled paper products. This makes sense since cardboard, receipts and a host of other "recycledโ€ paper products contain phthalates. In fact, one study found that pizza boxes have one of the highest concentrations of any processed food. All of this goes straight into every recycled paper product you buy, including toilet paper. Down the rabbit hole. Recent studies even suggest that recycled toilet paper causes problems with female reproductive organs and external tissues, which makes sense. Not to mention the dioxins from waste paper, which apparently NEVER leave the human body. I won't list the brand out of respect for the 7th generation, but I've switched to all bamboo or bamboo/cane products in my house. We use bamboo/SC toilet paper, paper towels and tissues unless we use 100% organic cotton linens. It may seem like an inconvenience, but your health is priceless. When I read an article about healthy living on a simple website, that's one thing. But when the facts were confirmed by real scientific studies from 2010 to 2021, I realized the real meaning of this. Needs to be shared because we buy all these things thinking we're doing our best for our health or the environment but not all that glitters is gold.
