In short, this is the best ethernet cable I've ever used. I can't tell if it's running at 10 gigabits per second as the rest of my network, particularly the router and hub/switch, is only 1 gigabits, but it seems to be much faster than Cat6. the cable I used. I think the form factor makes a big difference as this cable is almost impossible to kink. If you've had every used so-called flat ethernet cable before, this is the wrong cable. This material is flat but dense and does not tangle at all like a thin material. It's flat enough to be routed under carpet and thin enough to run multiple cables in a standard conduit. Although packaged in a twisted configuration - a double helix with both connectors facing out - it quickly loses its tendency to adopt the twisted form so typical of most cables. This cable lays flat well, takes any shape you want and doesn't tangle. I bought two of these and couldn't be happier with their performance.
