So I know a lot of kites hit trees, let me explain. I ordered two kites for my twins. An ice cream cone and this rainbow. The ice cream cone kite was a nice traditional triangular shape but the sticks on the sides didn't go all the way through making it look more diamond shaped than the ones shown in the photos here. It didn't really cross my mind at first as my son decided he didn't want to fly his kite on the first day. On the second day I noticed the shape was wrong and compared them, shrugged and off I went, I had a crazy adventure with a very flying kite! As a result, I got stuck in a tree, which to my knowledge is not the manufacturer's fault. However I think if I hadn't been running around like crazy with two 4 year olds I probably wouldn't have ended up so close to the trees, the road, the lamp post. Check the form.
