Review on 📱 i.Trek Black Universal Dashboard Mount with Convenient Built-In Holder by Sam Anez

I bought this mount because the old ball mount on my old but very good Garmin StreetPilot c550 no longer held the car. I tried to glue the car to the ball mount. I tried gluing the machine to the ball joint but nothing happened. When I contacted Garmin to see if they had a mount that would hold the car without using a ball mount, they told me they didn't but checked online to see if there was anything else. I found this mount and another user assured me it will hold the StreetPilot CRT. He does it and he does it very well. However, there are two issues that caused me to downgrade it from a 5 to a 4. The first problem was easily solved. I've read in various reviews that the mount moves around the dashboard when rotated. I bought the "Sticky Pad" along with the mount, and when I put the mount on top of the sticky pad, the mount doesn't move. I didn't expect the second problem. My Toyota Tacoma's windshield is crooked and there isn't enough room above the dash to put the mount where I wanted it (on the left corner of the dash, to the left of the steering wheel). , so I had to put it in the center of the dashboard. Even there wasn't much room and it sits on the front edge of the dashboard. All in all, this was a great purchase and I would do it again if I needed it without a second thought.
