Review on Ricoh Theta M15 360 Degree Spherical Panorama Camera (Yellow) by Nico Ramdeen

I bought this camera because I wanted to quickly create panoramas for display with Google Cardboard. I was looking for an affordable one-click alternative to the Google Photo Sphere app. Overall I'm happy with the ease of use and the iPhone app works well. However, the quality of the photos only seems acceptable to me when viewed on a mobile device. The resolution is fairly low and unfortunately does little to bridge the gap between Theta and professional solutions, which include DSLRs, dedicated pan heads and more sophisticated software. Panono could be a possible alternative, but it's not shipping yet and costs 5 times as much.
