Review on 🎨 Transform Your Cabinets with Nuvo Cocoa Couture Cabinet Paint Kit, Brown by Jerry Bergstad

I used Cocoa Couture for the bathroom vanity and medicine cabinet, both in honey oak (see before and after photos). I chose this dark color because I needed contrast in my white/white bathroom. I read some really helpful reviews and used a combination of tips from those reviews. I used a TSP solution to quickly wipe down cabinets. I also used primer in all but two places (but I think I skipped that step). I didn't like the included scooter so I used my own 6 inch scooter. The brush that came with it was nice and good quality, but I personally prefer the longer handle due to hand cramps. I did two roles. I only used 1/2 liter for my tub so I'm going to make another tub in the same color. This paint is really good. There were some tears in a few places but this was easily fixed when I went back and patched the area. At one point I had to take a block of sand and swipe it a few times, but it worked out in the end. The whole process from start to finish only took me about 4.5 hours (and I'm a bit slow and a perfectionist). I am very happy with the results. I would love to do my kitchen a lighter color, although I'm afraid you'll see more imperfections with a lighter color (just a guess). I highly recommend this color and this set.
