Great product, I would recommend to everyone.

I cannot praise this product enough. When I opened the package I had doubts it would do the job but I was wrong. There was more than enough space in two cans and everything ran smoothly like clockwork. We applied two coats of paint and there was a whole can of bathroom left. Super easy, I can't even explain how different the kitchen looks.

Be careful when choosing color

This isn't the first time I've used furniture paint. However, this is the first time I've used haute couture cocoa color. I'm disappointed. I assumed both jars were the same color and didn't open both at the same time. It was a big mistake. Now I have two different shades of color in my kitchen cabinets and it's not appealing. I don't know if the company will fix the situation, but so far things are not looking good. Poor quality control and guarantees from the company that makes the products…

I read all the reviews and great tips, watched some YouTube videos

I did amazing, read all the reviews and great tips, watched some YouTube videos. Preparation and degreasing. Used a professional deglazer, light sanding with 220 grit sandpaper, heavy sanding on areas I thought were chafed and cracked. It turned out great. Translucent wood texture and beautiful semi-gloss sheen. I applied three coats, be aware the first coat will look like shit. I would highly recommend removing all the drawers and doors to do this finish, it makes the application a lot easier…

Reliable, inexpensive update for the budget conscious

So far I'm happy with the results. (Less than 48 hours have passed). I'll give this a few weeks to cure per the instructions and then update the photos accordingly when I put the grips on. Pros: - Cost (about $100 total to get the job done. New rollers and Krud Cutter. You'll also need 300-grit sandpaper, masking tape, plastic sheets, and a fan) - Appears to stick well and dries FAST. I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally bumped into drawers in my cramped kitchen without leaving a…

Met! Wow! for paint, wall treatments and accessories

I had these old crooked ugly broken cabinets lol I was going to buy a whole new set but I heard good things about painting old cabinets so I jumped at the chance . You must remember that you must be patient and take your time, such as B. removing doors, handles and hinges and then repairing any imperfections with a wood spatula. They then sand each piece, I used a portable electric sander as well as a hand sander for each area I wanted a little more delicate, then wipe it all down with Windex…

Wow - I couldn't be happier with the result!

I used Cocoa Couture for the bathroom vanity and medicine cabinet, both in honey oak (see before and after photos). I chose this dark color because I needed contrast in my white/white bathroom. I read some really helpful reviews and used a combination of tips from those reviews. I used a TSP solution to quickly wipe down cabinets. I also used primer in all but two places (but I think I skipped that step). I didn't like the included scooter so I used my own 6 inch scooter. The brush that came…

I just saved $12,000 by not replacing my cabinets!

Love love LOVE this product. I just spent the weekend fixing my kitchen cabinets MYSELF (no help from my husband)! Replaced all hardware with stainless steel handles and hinges and it's just great. While the instructions don't require you to sand the cabinets, I did. My cabinets were original that came with the house almost 35 years ago and showed heavy signs of wear. Here's what I did: 1) Used Krud Kutter cabinet cleaner to remove dirt, grease, and grime. (This product also removes shine from…
