Reviews that the pillows are very flat and do not swell over time are true. I was very disappointed when they didn't fluff up after being removed from the sealed pouch. I figured it wouldn't hurt if I tried fluffing them up myself as I'll just get them back if they stay flat. WELL, they got VERY fluffy, like this: I grabbed them by the corners and really shook them. Literally shake them on all sides like they owe you money. This allowed the stuffing to redistribute towards the center instead of being evenly flat, and also allowed the fluff to break up and fill the space between them with air to keep it nice and fluffy. Then, just in case, I hit him on the sides, top, bottom, middle, all over. When I finished attacking these pillows, they were SUPER fluffy and almost too big for the pillowcases I bought. All in all it turned out to be a really good deal and they're getting pretty big. 100% recommend, plus the shake up was a pretty good workout.
