An essential tool for your recovery and workout longevity.

I was reluctant to purchase a pistol as I am a former college athlete and have remained fairly active over the years and have always had an athletic trainer to deal with my muscles, aches and pains. I love being active, from weightlifting, HIIT, kickboxing and crossfit; basically anything that gets your heart rate up. All of this movement and activity made me realize the importance of recovery. I'll admit that I don't always stretch or "roll" my problem areas (quads, glutes, and hamstrings) before or after a workout. It's a bad habit that I've had my entire life, but the fact is I no longer have a sports team to keep my body in shape and I don't see a physical therapist or chiropractor as often as I'd like. All in all I was a bit skeptical about the Fascia Equalizer for several reasons. will it hurt 2. Can I push hard enough despite possible discomfort? 3. Will I be able to hit all my problem areas myself?4. Will it really improve my recovery and range of motion? / Does working out my big muscles (especially my legs) 3-4 times a week help me?5. Will taking fewer rest days help me? 6. Do I need someone to do this for me to achieve the desired pressure intensity? So I've been using it for a little over a week now. I did 6 workouts in 7 days, 3 of those workouts were lower body only workouts and the rest were a mix of full body workouts. I used the gun before training, after and sometimes before bed. This is my new favorite recovery tool! It feels so good and it relieves my pain and helps with stretching and my ability to roll deeper and longer! Now I can answer the above questions! 1. It doesn't hurt per se, but when my muscles hurt in my legs after a hard day, I feel like I'm getting a deep tissue massage (on level 4) and it relieves the pain. So good pain if that makes sense! 2. Yes, I can press deeply and strongly on all muscles for 30 seconds. I love the rounded head on the hamstrings and buttocks! I prefer a flat head on my feet! 3. Yes! For me it's my glutes and my tibial bands, I can push hard and that feeling won't let me give up. It is possible. One evening my friend will do my back. I've used it on him and I'm pretty sure my arms have been replaced :(.4. Yes! The week before last I've been doing my normal workout, light stretching and minimal foam skating. I do my lower body every Monday. I tend plus to heavy loads, my soreness usually lasts until wednesday and if i don't roll i can't hit my lower body until wednesday i carry a gun in my gym bag and it's part of my warm up before dynamic stretching!overall i'm very happy with of the gun! per month. If I could I would go once a week! Now I don't feel the need to go as often, I don't need fancy metal tools for my IT groups. I feel pretty free and what most importantly, i experienced this week that i can recover faster and less painful!It's easy to assemble(change head), charge and use!I love d his business!
